How do we deal with noise in the city?
The municipality of Amsterdam is looking for new solutions to limit the inconvenience of noise from road use by cars, scooters and other motor vehicles for people living and working on a main road. The most important question is: are there any applications and processes to be devised that reduce the actual nuisance, nuisance experience and negative health effects of noise and air pollution in the urban area? Three teams of students and startups designed the concepts Absorba, Dawda and My Green. The municipality is now investigating where a pilot can be started with the winner Absorba.
